The New Disclosure Policy: What You Must Know
For the 2026 exercise, JAMB has introduced a Compulsory Disclosure of Previous Admission Status. * Undergraduates: If you are already matriculated in a tertiary institution but want to start over or change courses via the 2026 UTME, you must declare your previous registration details.
- The Risk: Failure to disclose a current admission is an offense. It will result in the automatic invalidation of both your current admission and your new registration.
- The Rule: You cannot hold two admissions concurrently. Once a new admission is secured, the previous one automatically lapses.
Step-by-Step Registration Guide
- Generate Profile Code: Send "NIN [your-11-digit-NIN]" to 55019 or 66019.
- Purchase ePIN: Use your Profile Code to buy your ePIN at banks, via Remita, or at accredited CBT centres.
- Fill the Template: Download and fill the Official JAMB Registration Template to avoid errors in subject combinations or personal data.
- Visit a CBT Centre: Go to an accredited JAMB CBT registration centre. Do not use cybercafés.
- Biometric Authentication: You must use your fingerprints to verify all entered data before the final submission. This prevents errors and ensures your identity is secured.
Official 2026 Reading Text
Every registered candidate is entitled to a free copy of the official novel:
"The Lekki Headmaster" by Kabir Alabi Garba.
Ensure you collect your copy at the CBT centre immediately after your registration is completed.
If you encounter issues with your NIN or profile code, you can send RESEND to 55019 or 66019 to retrieve your code. For ePIN issues, send UTMEPIN to the same number.
